(HBO) - The Hoa Binh Social Insurance and the provincial postal sector are delivering pensions, social insurance benefits and social allowances of both April and May to pensioners and beneficiaries contributors in an effort to ensure safety for them amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Pensions, social insurance benefits delivered to beneficiaries at home to prevent COVID-19 spread.
In accordance with the policy of Vietnam Social Insurance, the
money of two months will be paid in one time through postal services from April
16 through May 25. Those who are in special circumstances can have the money delivered
to their home.
In order to receive money at their home, beneficiaries will have
to either sign up at the website www.ansinhxahoi.vnpost.vn, or call the hotline
1900.545481 of the Vietnam Post. They can also ask district post offices for
help in registering.
Before delivering money to beneficiaries’ homes, post office
workers have their body temperature taken, and are required to clean their
hands with hand sanitizer after each payment. Both postal workers and money
recipients have to wear face masks and keep at least two metres apart during
the payment process.
Those who want to receive pensions or
benefits ahead of schedule, or cannot arrange for home delivery, or live in
localities different from the registered addresses can receive pensions and
benefits at post offices. At every payment location, beneficiaries are
advisednot togatherin crowdsand stay at least two
metres from each other in the queue. They are also asked to clean their hands
with hand sanitizer and wear masks during the process.
For those who live in lockdown areas due
to the Covid-19, local post offices will consult local authorities and relevant
bodies in order to deliver their pensions and benefits in a safe and timely
manner after the lockdown ends.
There are 34,723 social insurance
beneficiaries in Hoa Binh, including 25,929 pensioners and 8,802 revolution
contributors. The new payment method is very convenient for the beneficiaries
while contributing to the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic/.
