(HBO) - The Ao xanh (Blue shirt) charity club in Hoa Binh city, established five years ago, has actively participated in charitable and humanitarian activities, with the total value of granted gifts and cash reaching billions of Vietnamese dong. The club has regularly organised charitable activities inside and outside Hoa Binh province, such as presenting gifts to poor households and people with disabilities, offering free meals for underprivileged patients and their relatives at the provincial General Hospital and the Traditional Medicine Hospital.

ward visited and presented gifts to children with disabilities in Hoa Binh
city.
The provincial
Drivers’ Association gathers drivers whose vehicles have the Hoa Binh
registration number of 28. Along with supporting association members, the
association has donated to support people affected by flood and other natural
disasters, and presented medical supplies to help locals in disadvantageous
areas fight the COVID-19 pandemic. The yellow shirt of the provincial Drivers’
Association has been seen in charitable activities held in far-flung hamlets
from Mai Chau, Da Bac, Tan Lac, Lac Son and Yen Thuy districts to Hoa Binh
city.
The spirit of
solidarity has duplicated in difficulties. When floods and landslides seriously
affected locals’ lives and production, many organisations and individuals stood
side by side with affected people by providing them with food, foodstuff and
daily supplies and helping them build and repair houses and schools and restore
production.
Recently, more than 10
billion VND has been sent to the provincial Fatherland Front to support the
province’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, fundraising
campaigns for disaster-affected people and national sea and islands have still
attracted a large number of organisations and individuals. All these activities
have helped spread love and solidarity among local people./.
The Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh province held a conference on March 18 to review the performance of the "Safe and Happy School" Project and set out tasks for 2025.
