(HBO) - Under the provincial People’s Committee’s Decision No.2938/QD-UBND, dated December 26, 2019, nearly 114 billion VND (4.9 million USD) was set aside for construction and upgrade of 28 works and two programmes.

 

Leaders of the provincial People’s Committee and Department of Education and Training examine a kitchen of the Ethnic Boarding High School, which has been recently upgraded and repaired.

The province checked, took over, and put into operation two programmes and 23 educational facilities, of which eight works and one programme were invested by the provincial Department of Education and Training with total capital of over 37.36 billion VND.

The department is beginning work on seven facilities as planned for 2020. Meanwhile, the People’s Committees of districts and Hoa Binh city built and repair facilities at kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools.

To date, the province has 8,797 rooms, including 8,563 classrooms at kindergartens and primary, secondary and high schools and the remainders at vocational schools. Of the total classrooms, 834 were degraded.

The Divisions of Education and Training of districts splashed out 50 billion VND to purchase desks, teaching and studying equipment. Some 2.5 billion VND was spent on teaching aid for primary schools in difficult areas, and 8 billion VND on boarding facilities for boarding schools.

Local schools bought more than 800 student desks, built 14 smart multi-functional classrooms, and purchased kitchen equipment and teaching aids at a total cost of 7.38 billion VND./.
