(HBO) – The centre of vocational and continuing education of Lac Son district, Hoa Binh province, has opened a training course on livestock and poultry farming in Binh Hem commune.

This is one of the four animal husbandry training courses opened since March. The previous classes were organised in Thuong Coc, Quyet Thang, and Yen Phu communes with a total of 105 participants.

During the three-month course, trainees will access knowledge about farming techniques, how to select high-yield livestock breeds, animal feed, along with common animal diseases and prevention measures so as to apply to their farming practices.

The 2021 vocational training programme for rural residents was financed with 400 million VND (17,300 USD) by the district’s administration, with six courses to be held free of charge in poor communes. Participants will also receive some financial aid and be granted vocational certificates after the courses finish./.
