(HBO) - After evaluating the outstanding results in the school year of 2020-2021and discussing and clarifying many important issues, the attendants of the conference agreed on the direction and the key tasks for the school year of 2021-2022.

With the theme "Initiative- discipline - safety – quality”, in this school year, the primary education will continue to ensure the quality of the 2018 General Education Program for grades 1 and 2 and effectively implement the current general education program for grades 3 to 5. To accomplish the set goals, the Department of Education and Training has directed the units and schools to synchronously and drastically deploy the following solutions: Reasonably planning the netwwprks of schools and classrooms; maintaining and consolidating the results of the primary education universalization; implementing the equity in education. In implementiting the general education at the primary level, it is necessary to set up the educational plans of the schools; innovating the mângement work in the direction of promoting the initiative, flexibility and autonomy of the schools, the creativity of the professional groups and the teachers; innovating the methods and forms of organizing teaching activities and assessing students; improving the quality of teaching foreign languages, informatics...

Ms. Bui Thi Kim Tuyen, the Director of the Department of Education and Training has suggested that the units and sthe chools should closely stick to the theme of the new school year for the primary education. Thereby, it is suggested implementing the substantive key tasks drastically, closely and regularly. In particular, it is necessary to continue implementing solutions to limit the impact of Covid-19 epidemics, to diversify different forms of teaching organization to both cope with the prolonged and complicated development of Covid-19 epidemics and to actively participate in teaching activities, ensuring the completion of the general education program for the academic school year of 2021-2022.

Looking back at the academic school year of 2020-2021, in the province there are 223 schools with primary level (including 28 primary schools, 183 high schools and junior high schools, 9 semi-boarding high schools, 3 schools of other types). By the end of the school year, there were 3,307 classes with a total of 85,225 students, there were 26 students per class on everage. There were 5,588 officials and teachers in total. This was the first school year that the primary education implemented the 2018 general education program for grade 1, so it received a special leadership and direction from the Party committees, the approprate authorities, the departments, the agencies and the mass organizations from the province to the grassroot levels. In the context of many pressures and complicated developments of Covid-19 epidemic, the localities have had many proactive, timely and flexible solutions to direct the units and the schools to carry out the task of renovating the primary education.

In particular, the schools have actively removed the difficulties, focusing on innovating the methods to improve the operational efficiency. As a result, the primary education has achieved the remarkable results. In which, the schools basically completed the 2018 the general education program for grade 1, meeting the requirements and plans set out.
