(HBO) – Deputy Director for the Hanoi region of the Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) Ngo Quoc Hung presented Hoa Binh province with 100,000 rapid antigen test kits for the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 on February 23. The kits, branded Biocredit, are worth nearly 4.6 billion VND (201,300 USD) in total.

Appreciating the assistance from Sacombank, Dang Bich Ngoc, Vice President of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee, said amid a surge in the number of COVID-19 cases in Hoa Binh, the test kits presented by the bank is a practical and meaningful gift helping the province with the pandemic combat.
This is the largest number of test kits Hoa Binh has received from a donor through the provincial VFF Committee so far, she said, expressing her hope that Sacombank will continue standing side by side with the province to surmount these trying times and carry out other programme.
The provincial VFF Committee’s Standing Board pledges to distribute the kits in a timely, open, and appropriate manner, she added.
Sacombank, headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, has always paid attention to supporting anti-pandemic efforts. It hasn’t opened a branch in Hoa Binh but still offered practical aid for the province in the COVID-19 fight./.
