(HBO) – The women’s union of Hoa Binh province in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Tan Lac district has launched "Green, clean, beautiful Saturday”, aiming to build the "model family” and "model commune” campaign in 2017.
With the strength of community-based
tourism that contributes to preserving local traditional cultural identity, the
campaign’s main activities focused on three goals - clean house, clean kitchen
and clean road, with a view of making changes in the environment and households
in communes. The campaign also helped local residents maintain and promote unique
cultural features of each locality.

Besides,
the campaign focused on opening training courses to provide knowledge and
skills for union members and local households, as well as building "model families”
and "modern communes” with five "no”, three ‘cleanliness” and environment
protection. It also aimed to build a happy family club model carrying the three
goals of cleanliness in combination with developing community-based tourism. Documents
and posters to raise public awareness on the campaign were also compiled and
printed.
After the launching ceremony, representatives from
the women’s union branches of nine hamlets in Phong Phu commune signed a commitment
in response to the campaign and started cleaning their surroundings./.
The Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh province held a conference on March 18 to review the performance of the "Safe and Happy School" Project and set out tasks for 2025. The project, funded by the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF), aims to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for students.
