(HBO) – Hoa Binh province’s Department of Education and Training and Phuong Hoang Golf Course Company Limited co-organised a ceremony on December 1 to present scholarships to 300 poor students.

The event was attended by Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh, and Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee Nguyen Van Chuong, and leaders of Charmvit Group and Phuong Hoang company.

Over the past years, all-level Party Committees, authorities, departments and agencies in the province and donors have paid attention to disadvantaged students.

Between 2010-2022, Phuong Hoang Golf Course Company Limited presented 3,200 scholarships worth over 5.7 billion VND (241,782 USD) to students in 10 localities in Hoa Binh.

This is the 11th time Phuong Hoang has joined such activity. Each of the 300 students received a scholarship valued at 2 million USD.

The humane activity was expected to encourage the students to overcome their difficult circumstances and make better academic achievements.

On this occasion, the provincial study promotion association honoured Phuong Hoang company with a certificate of merit for its contributions to the local study promotion work.
