In the afternoon of January 12th, at the People's Committee of Mai Chau district, Vietnam Social Insurance organized a program to donate social insurance books and health insurance cards to the people in difficult circumstances in Mai Chau district. There was the attendance of Mr. Nguyen The Manh, the Secretary of the Party Committee, the General Director of Vietnam Social Insurance; the leaders of the District’s Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front of Mai Chau district and the sponsors, including the branches of several banks in Hoa Binh: Agribank, BIDV, Vietinbank, Vietnam Petroleum Insurance joint Stock Company (PVI), Vietcombank, the Provincial Post Office.

Mr.
Nguyen The Manh, the Secretary of the Party Committee, the General Director of
Vietnam Social Insurance and the leaders of Mai Chau district were presenting
social insurance books to the people.

The
representatives of the sponsors were presenting health insurance cards to the
people.
Making
a speech at the program, the General Director of Vietnam Social Insurance
emphasized: Social insurance and health insurance are two important social policies,
playing the main pillar role in our country's social security system, being
paid a special attention to by the Party, the State and the government. In
recent years, Vietnam's social insurance sector has always paid a special
attention to the social security work. Giving social insurance books and health
insurance cards to the people in difficult circumstances is an activity that
has been carried out by the generations of officials, civil servants, public
employees and employees in Vietnam social insurance sector and is officially
organized into a major program, unified from the awareness to the action
throughout Vietnam Social Insurance system for many years. So far, the program
is increasingly spreading, mobilizing the participation of the civil servants,
the public employees, and employees throughout Vietnam Social Insurance sector
and the social community in donating social insurance books and health
insurance cards to the people in difficult cỉcumstances.
At the
program, the leaders of Vietnam Social Insurance, Mai Chau district and the
representatives of sponsors awarded 30 social insurance books and 190 health
insurance cards to the people in difficult circumstances in Mai Chau district
with a total value of over 211 million VND.
Thus,
there have been 439 people being given social insurance books and health
insurance cards with a total amount of over 330 million VND in in the province
so far.
