The Ministry of Education and Training has just announced the results of the National Exam for selecting Excellent High School Students for the school year of 2023 - 2024. The exam took place on January 5th and 6th, 2024.
The provincial teams participating in the National Exam for selecting Excellent High School Students for 2023-2024 school year of 2023-2024 offered incense at Uncle Ho's Monument before the competition.
Accordingly, in the whole country there were 5,812 candidates from 70 units participating in 12 subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, Literature, History, Geography, English, Russian, French, Chinese. The exam board selected 3,351 winners, accounting for 55.65%.
Hoa Binh province had 41/75 contestants won the prizes. The number of prizes increased significantly compared to that of previous years (there were 23 prizes in the school year of 2021-2022; there were 28 prizes in school year of 2022-2023).
The quality of Hoa Binh province's teams this year also increased compared to that of last year. Specifically, last year there were 2 second prizes and 10 third prizes, this year they won 01 first prize, 4 second prizes and 12 third prizes. In particular, all 12 teams participating in the competition won prizes.
The specific results of the national exam for selecting excellent high school students for the school year of 2023 - 2024, there were 41 prizes. The statistics of competition is as followed: there was 1 third prize and 2 consolation prizes for Maths; there was 1 second prize and 3 consolation prizes for Physics; there was 3 third prizes and 3 consolation prizes for Chemistry; there were 2 consolation prizes for Biology; there were 3 third prizes and 1 consolation prize for Informatics; there was 01 third prize and 04 consolation prizes for Literature; there was 01 first prize and 01 consolation prize for History; there was 1 second prize, 1 third prize and 2 consolation prizes for Geography; there were 2 third prizes and 2 consolation prizes for English; there was 1 second prize and 1 consolation prize for Russian; there was 1 consolation prize for French and there was 1 second prize, 1 third prize and 2 consolation prizes for Chinese.
Among the 41 prizes in the whole province, Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted won 38 prizes, including 1 first prize from Pham Ngoc Phuong Uyen, grade 12 specializing in History, 4 second prizes, 12 third prizes and 21 consolation prizes; the Provincial Ethnic Boarding High School won 2 consolation prizes in Geography; Luong Son High School won 1 consolation prize in Chinese language.
