On August 18th, the Trade Union of the Provincial Industrial Zones (IZs) held the final round of the "Labor Dance” competition. It commended the outstanding trade union officials at the grassroots levels in 2024.

for the best performances in the competition of the "Labor Dance of Provincial
Industrial Zones” in 2024.
The
2024 "Labor Dance” competition of the Provincial Industrial Zones has attracted
the participation of affiliated trade units. The performances included modern
dance, folk dance, and zumba, and they were elaborately and uniquely
choreographed. Nine performances were selected to be showcased in the program,
where the jury scored and awarded the best entries.
As a
result, the organizing committee awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3
third prizes, and 3 consolation prizes. The first prize belonged to the
performance "Hearts of Vietnam – Thousands of Vietnamese Dreams” (COASIA CM
VINA joint Stock Company Trade Union). This performance was also rated by the
jury and audience as the "Most Impressive Performance” in the competition.
Additionally, the organizing committee awarded the other special prizes,
including "The Most Popular Performance”: The Party and Cherry Cherry (Sankoh
Vietnam Co., Ltd. Trade Union); "The Best Technical Performance”: My Pink Lips
(GGS Vietnam Co., Ltd. Trade Union); and "The Best Visual Effects”: I am
Smitten with you” (Almine Vietnam Co., Ltd. Trade Union).
On
this occasion, the Trade Union of the Provincial Industrial Zones also
commended 15 outstanding trade officials who have significantly contributed to
building a strong trade union organization.
These
activities are the part of the Provincial Industrial Zones Trade Union’s events
celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General
Confederation of Labor (July 28th, 1929 - July 28th,
2024). The healthy competitions organized contribute to fostering a spirit of
"Excellent Labor – Creative Labor” in the enterprises, at the same time, it
also helps enhancing solidarity and improving the cultural and spiritual life
of the employees.
The Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh province held a conference on March 18 to review the performance of the "Safe and Happy School" Project and set out tasks for 2025. The project, funded by the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF), aims to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for students. The event saw the attendance of representatives from the TFCF and 26 beneficiary schools.
With over 70% of their workers being women, trade unions across industrial parks (IPs) in Hoa Binh have been actively safeguarding their legal rights and interests while implementing initiatives to improve their income and well-being.

From mastering the fundamentals of programming to achieving national recognition, the Programming Club of the Le Van Tam Primary School (STAR LVT28) in Hoa Binh city has made remarkable strides in the field of robotics.
The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Committee and the Vietnam Youth Federation chapter of Hoa Binh province organised a programme on March 12 to launch the "Digital Literacy" movement and an online quiz on the resolutions of the Vietnam Youth Federation congresses at all levels, as well as the Politburo's Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.
