Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong attended the ceremony to mark the 60th founding anniversary of Yen Thuy district, Hoa Binh province, on November 10.

Labour Order to the Party organisation, administration, and people of Yen Thuy
district.
Addressing at the ceremony, Phuong congratulated
the local Party organisation, administration, armed forces, and people on the
achievements they have recorded over the past 60 years.
He underscored the significance of the continued
efforts to strengthen the leadership and combat readiness of the Party
organisation as well as build a streamlined and strong political system
He asked the district to focus on concretising
the resolution adopted at the 13th National Party Congress, promote its
intrinsic strength and potential while paying due attention to the education
and training, healthcare, and cultural and social sectors.
Additionally, meticulous preparation should be
made for the upcoming 21st Party Congress and measures penned out for rapid and
sustainable socio-economic development, helping develop Yen Thuy into a more
prosperous district.

Xuan Giao highlighted the district’s historical development, tracing its origin
to the split of Lac Thuy district into Lac Thuy and Yen Thuy in 1964.
The district, now covering 28,855 hectares and
home to nearly 63,000 people of seven ethnic groups, has witnessed
comprehensive developments across all domains over the past six decades, he
said, adding the annual production value has expanded 11% since 2020.
So far this year, State budget collection has
topped 202 billion VND (nearly 8 million USD) while per capita income is around
62 million VND. The district is striving to achieve the criteria for a new
rural district in 2025, he stated.
Over the past time, the district has paid due
attention to the Party building work. Currently, it has 5,665 Party members
across 50 basic branches.
On the occasion, Yen Thuy was awarded the State
President’s third-class Labour Order.
