On November 10, at Hoa Binh Square, Vietnam Cycling Federation (VCF) coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hoa Binh province and Minh Viet Communications and Trading Company to Vietnam Gran Fondo Championships in 2024 - IRCtire Cup. Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, the Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the opening ceremony.

There were
over 320 male and female athletes from 20 cycling clubs nationwide
participating in the tournament. The athletes competed on the companion track
at SEA Games 31. The IRCtire Cup race was divided into 2 distances for 5 groups
of athletes.
The young
men (aged 30 and below) and the middlemen (aged 31 - 45) competed for 30.83km.
The senior men (aged 46 and above), the young women (aged 40 and below), and
the senior women (aged 41 and above) competed for 21.93km. In addition, the
IRCtire Cup also has a 5-km competition class for the movement athletes
participating in free competition, not included in the prize.
Organizing
the tournament aims to effectively implement the campaign "All people do
exercises according to the great example of Uncle Ho”. It also propagates and
mobilizes the people to increase the use of bicycles as a means of transport,
contributing to reducing traffic congestion, being environmentally friendly...
After a
morning of fierce competition from the athletes and the serious and responsible
work of the referee team, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes from first to
tenth place to the athletes with the outstanding achievements.

(first prizes only), the senior women's content belongs to the athlete Do Thi
Thanh Hien (No. 103) - the team content belongs to Cat Viet Thai Club; the
young women's content belongs to Nguyen Thi Yen (number 004); The senior men's
content: Ta Van Dac (No. 438) -the teammate of the Fourth War Zone
Bicycle Club in Dong Trieu; the middle-aged men's content: Ho Phuoc Nghia (No.
324) – the teammate belongs to Cat Viet Thai Club; The young men's content:
Tran Van Tot (No. 208) – the teammate belongs to Tuan Biker Hanoi Club 1.
The
organizing committee also awarded the prizes to the athletes in the men's and
women's movement categories for all ages.

In the afternoon of January 18th, at Hoa Binh Provincial Stadium, Hoa Binh Football Club (Hoa Binh FC) played against Hue Football Club (Hue FC) in the 6th round of the National First Division Football Tournament - Bia Sao Vang, 2024-2025 tournament.
After two tense and dramatic halves of the final round of the ASEAN Cup 2024, the Vietnamese football team played excellently, winning convincingly with a score of 3-2 and being crowned champions with total score of 5-3 against opponent Thailand.
After the final whistle of the second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2024 semi-final between Vietnamese team and Singaporian team sounded, thousands of football fans in Hoa Binh City burst into the joy of victory. Vietnamese team officially won a ticket to the final of the ASEAN Cup 2024 with a 3-1 victory (the total score after 2 semi-final matches is 5-1) against Singapore.
