In November 8, at Kim Boi District Stadium, the Department of Industry and Trade and the People's Committee of Kim Boi District, Hoa Binh province jointly organized the opening of the Fair to display and introduce typical products of ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

The fair is within the framework of the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas in 2024. This is an activity to promote the potential and advantages of localities in the region, promote connection of product consumption, especially key export products and typical rural industrial products. At the same time, it is an opportunity for localities to exchange experiences, processes, and techniques in industrial production to serve domestic consumption and export.
With a scale of 120 booths, the displayed products are typical goods that ensure quality standards, showing diversity, richness and richness of regional cultural identity.

The implementation of the One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme in Lac Son district has so far resulted in the enhanced values of products involved as well as the expansion of markets and consumption links.
In the evening of November the first, in Lac Son district, the Provincial People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the 2024 Highland Market in Hoa Binh province with the theme "Market – the Beauty of the highlands”. There was the attendance to press the opening button of the Market of Nguyen Phi Long, the alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Bui Duc Hinh, the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Bui Van Khanh, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and the other poeple from the Provincial Party Standing Committee; the leaders from the provincial People’s Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front, the departments, branches and the People’s Committees of the districts and the city.
Hoa Binh province currently has 158 products granted at least three stars under the "One Commune, One Product” (OCOP) programme, including 114 food products. Among them, there are five aquatic products given four stars. They have gradually won consumers’ trust and created a new livelihood development trend for farmers and businesses in rural areas across the province.
Leveraging the local natural advantages, ethnic minority people in Da Bac district have promoted forest economy development in recent years. This approach not only enhances forest conservation but also boosts residents’ income.
Proactively implementing solutions to ensure the supply of agricultural products for domestic and foreign markets as well as for export, the provincial agricultural sector and localities have encouraged and guided farmers to increase production, promote linkages, and actively monitor weather developments for prompt response to protect production.
