(HBO) – The Standing Committee of the Youth Union of Yen Thuy district has successfully organised the "Yen Thuy youngsters join hands in building new-style rural areas” contest in 2018.

The
contest drew 12 teams from communes implementing the national target programme
on new-style rural area building in the district. The team competed in four
events – introduction, general knowledge through multiple choice tests, short
plays performing themed "rural stories”, and a part themed "youngsters joining
hands in new-style rural area building”.
The
contents of the competition focused on the dissemination of laws and policies
Party and State as well as the province and district in implementing the
national target programme on new-style rural area building for the 2016-2020
period.
Concluding
the contest, the organising board presented the first prize to Huu Loi commune,
the second prize to Phu Lai and Bao Hieu communes, and four third prizes and
five consolidate prizes to other teams.
The
contest aimed to raise officials, Party members and locals’ awareness of the
national target programme on new-style rural area building, especially among
young generations and members of the youth union in Yen Thuy district.
After the Lunar New Year (Tet) holidays, trade union members and workers in Hoa Binh province returned to work with an excited spirit at the beginning of the new spring. Throughout the workshops, factories and enterprises, they were full of enthusiasm, immediately getting to work, striving to excellently complete tasks and production and business targets.
