In 2018, the businesses continue to invest in the production of safe vegetables and medicinal plants according to a link model of value chains such as Lac Thuy Clean Agricultural Company, Vietnam Pepper Ltd. After 8 years of implementing the program of building new rural areas, the traffic ensures the smooth travel and the communal hardened roads have reached 94.5%. The irrigation works have been renovated and upgraded, ensuring irrigation and water for production and daily-life needs of the people. 100% of the households have used the national net electricity. There are 24 out of 35 schools in the district meeting the national standards. The cultural facilities are invested and built each year to upgrade the criteria of building new rural areas. The rate of regular employed workers has reached 95.5%. In 2018, the average income in rural areas is 36.33 million VND a person.
