(HBO) - Over the past time, Lac Thuy district in Hoa Binh province has implemented many synchronous measures to support and orient the development of OCOP (one commune one product) products. Currently, the district is managing and developing four agricultural products granted with protection certificates by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam, including a collective brand of Lac Thuy orange, and three certificate brands of Lac Thuy chicken, Lac Thuy custard-apple, and Lac Thuy goat.

Red-flesh dragon fruit of Ba Hang Doi township agricultural service cooperative (Lac Thuy) granted provincial-level 3-star OCOP product certification in 2020.

The district is also managing and developing ten OCOP products ranked by the provincial People's Committee, of which two are rated four stars, namely fresh chicken and Song Boi tea; and eight three stars: Dong Bong custard-apple, Ngoc Han chicken egg, Khoan Du honey, red-flesh dragon fruit, queen melon, Chung Huong orange, Lac Thuy orange, and egg orange.

In 2021, the district registered to build three OCOP products, namely white oyster mushrooms, Hai Dang fresh chicken, and green Inchiba cantaloupe.

Making OCOP recognition the target of local products has helped businesses, cooperatives, production and business facilities improve product quality, increase competitiveness and gain a foothold in the market./.
