The first Hoa Binh province’s Da River Shrimp and Fish Festival, the Agricultural Fair and the OCOP Exhibition of the Northern Midlands and Mountainous Region 2023 last month featured nearly 200 booths of enterprises from 10 provinces and cities in the region.

Co-organised by the Hoa Binh provincial People Committee and the
Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development, the October 26-31 events aimed
at promoting the development of the aquatic industry and fish and shrimp
products from the Da River.
There were 121 booths showcasing three main product lines
including fresh fish, fish fillet products and processed fish products from
local enterprises.
Besides, the events contributed to promoting the development of
the OCOP programme in the region, supporting farmers, enterprises, cooperatives
in the northern midlands and mountainous areas in the sale of agricultural
products and brand building.
Do Duc Truong,Directorof the province's Agricultural
Extension Center, said that after six days, the events attracted over 300,000
visitors. and their success would contribute to lift the brand name of the Da
River fish and shrimp as well as the locality’s strong agricultural products while
promoting the development of fisheries industry in particular and agricultural
industry in general, opening up opportunities to seek partners and customers.
After the Lunar New Year (Tet) holidays, trade union members and workers in Hoa Binh province returned to work with an excited spirit at the beginning of the new spring. Throughout the workshops, factories and enterprises, they were full of enthusiasm, immediately getting to work, striving to excellently complete tasks and production and business targets.
