In 2023, the agricultural sector continued to affirm its role as a pillar of the economy amid economic difficulties. Along with positive signals from agricultural product exports, a lot of items under One Commune, One Product (OCOP) programme have affirmed their brands in the market. 1. Yen Thuy green tea buds


Yen Thuy green tea buds are produced by September 2 One Member Limited Company. The raw material areas cover more than 730ha in Luong Son, Yen Thuy and Lac Thuy districts. The unique features of this type of tea are its slightly bitter taste, bright yellow colour and natural aroma.

2. Gymnema sylvestre extract


Mamigo Gymnema sylvestre extract is a product made from the collaboration between Luong Son Herbal Medicine Cooperative and Duoc Khoa Pharmaceutical JSC (DKPharma). Gymnema sylvestre is grown in line with the World Health Organisation’s regulations from cultivation to harvesting. Modern extraction technology at Luong Son Herbal Medicine Cooperative helps optimise the content of active ingredients, ensuring the best quality to consumers.

3. Thuy Bach essential oil and incense products


Thuy Bach essential oil and Thuy Bach incense are researched and produced by Bach Viet Hoa Binh Cooperative, using natural ingredients from bach xanh or Calocedrus macrolepis which is grown in highland district of Da Bac. With a light and refreshing aroma, Thuy Bach essential oil is effective in reducing stress and fatigue and in treatment of headache, liver and kidney problems. Thuy Bach incense is made by skilled workers with modern machines and safe for users.

4. Fresh bamboo shoots of Kim Boi joint Stock Company


Fresh bamboo shoots are common food in the daily diet and can be used to make many delicious dishes. The products are grown mainly in Kim Boi and Lac Thuy districts.

5. Yen Thuong sticky rice and sugarcane wine


Thach Yen Cooperative has produced Yen Thuong sticky rice wine from traditional sticky rice of Thach Yen commune, Cao Phong district.

It also makes high quality sugarcane wine from the combination of the sticky rice and white sugar cane.

After being produced entirely with natural yeast, wine products are contained in clay jars for more than three months before being delivered to consumers.

6. Kim Boi mineral water


Over the past years, Kim Boi Mineral Water JSC has focused on building new factories, purchasing machinery and improving product designs to suit market demand.

It has capacity of producing 10 million bottles of mineral water a year. The company's production process meets ISO 22000:2018 standards, supplying high quality products. Products under Kim Boi natural mineral water brand have affirmed their position in the domestic and foreign markets.
