Implementing the criteria on the form of production organization in the program for building New Rural Areas, the Party committees and the provincial authorities at all levels have strengthened the direction and implementation of land consolidation and land exchange.
The Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 141, dated November 6,
2018, on land consolidation and land exchange. A maximum of nearly 4,700
hectares has been accumulated in the whole province so far, reaching 30.16% of
the area capable of consolidation. The forms of land consolidation and land
exchange have been implemented flexibly by the localities, in accordance with
the soil conditions, topography, and farming practices of the people.
The localities have also strengthened the recommendations for a
reasonable soil layout, which is consistent with the results of the soil
investigation project and adaptive classification of agricultural land in the
province.
