(HBO) - In the morning of March 5, in the Hoang Van Thu Gifted High School, Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi in collaboration with Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh province held the exam of physics Olympics for oversea study in Russia.

Lecturers of Russian universities directly
supervise the exam.
There are 206 students who are in the 12th
grade participating in the exam. Among them are 184 candidates from Hoa Binh,
belonging to those schools: Hoang Van Thu Gifted High School, the provincial
Ethnic Boarding High School, Yen Thuy A High School, Cong Nghiep High School.
And other 22 candidates are from Nam Truc A High School (Nam Dinh), Tran Phu
Gifted High School (Hai Phong), Lam Son Gifted High School (Thanh Hoa).
The candidates had to complete the written
test with a 90 minute writing time. This is a test which was designed by the
Russian universities and translated into Vietnamese for contestants. Direct
examination supervisions are conducted by teachers of several Russian
universities and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi.
According to the estimate, about 15
candidates with the highest score will receive a full scholarship to study
abroad in Russia.
The National Science and Engineering Fair for secondary and high school students was held at Ton Duc Thang University in Ho Chi Minh City from March 19-21 by the Ministry of Education and Training.
