(HBO) - From 2016 until now, the Police Force of Cao Ram Commune (Luong Son) has detected and treated 14 subjects using synthetic drugs in the area. This is determined as a seriously unpredictable threat to the community, the commune authorities have implemented comprehensive solutions to prevent and reverse drug abuse problems.

In 2016, in the commune, there were some
objects appeared with signs of using synthetic drugs, also known as
"rock" drugs, the Police Force of the commune already summoned the
suspects to the office for questioning and deterrence. Through investigating,
questioning, some suspected objects have admitted their use of synthetic drugs
as a result of being pulled about by the bad guys. Currently, the Commune
Police is managing 14 drug addicts using of synthetic drugs aged from 17 to 25
years old, the woman rate accounts for 21% of the total number of drug users.
Most of them were unemployed or unstable employed, and lack of family concern.
Then, the security order condition in the area has an increasing trend with
many complicated potential aspects. According to statistics, in 2017, 10 cases
of security order loss occurred in the area; there have been 6 cases occurred
in the first 5 months of this year.
In addition, the Police Force in Cao Ram
commune actively advised the Party Committee, the government to issue the
Instructions and Resolutions to strengthen security order – Social security
order in the area. They need to identify that drug addicts are mainly in the
young ages; all the departments, unions organized propaganda in schools,
villages, attracting more than 1,000 participants. Moreover, they need to
develop a plan to open two rounds of attacks against criminals, gathering
crowds, questioning, deterring suspected subjects who frequently break the law
and have manifested using synthetic drugs to take measures and handle timely.
Bringing into play the role of the people in
preventing the dangers of synthetic drugs, the movement "All people
protect the National Security" was implemented effectively by the local
people. The commune still maintains the performances of 9 self- managed
security groups, 9 villages and clubs of "the family has no
lawbreaker", 9 self – managed security groups for order security with 52
members, enhancing the support and assistance for the drug addicts and the
subjects under the management of the commune police to reintegrate into the
community.
