The model has been supported by the local Party Committee and authorities along with the study encouragement association in Ky Son town.

The study encouragement association has recorded drumbeats and short instructions for broadcasting on the local loudspeaker systems in the six residential areas to remind local residents and children of the study time.

The association has coordinated with secretaries of party cells, heads of residential areas, the association’s members and teachers of Ky Son town elementary and secondary schools to set up a group in charge of promoting the fondness of learning. The group sends members to families with children of school ages to talk with parents about the importance of learning and encourage children to study.

The association has also formed teams with members from the women’s association and youth union to check on the children’s study at home.

Thanks to the movement, since 2015, Ky Son town has taken the lead in study encouragement activities, as well as the number of school-age children going to schools. With synchronous and effective solutions, the movement has contributed to improving the sense of responsibility among family members and local residents towards education of their children.

The locality also saw fewer young people hanging out in crowds on the streets or in public places, and lower number of juvenile delinquents.

Over the past three school-years, the Ky Son study encouragement association has worked as an advisor of the town People’s Committee to present certificates of  merits and rewards to six chapters of the association, 48 teachers, 36 families and 126 outstanding students at all educational levels./.
