Hoa Binh Vocational Training and Farmer
Support Center, which has received great investment from the Provincial Party
Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Farmers' Association,
was built on an area of nearly 2 hectares in Hamlet 1, Su Ngoi commune (Hoa
Binh City). This centre has the function of supporting farmers in vocational
training and product consuming within the province.
Over the past years, the Center has always
innovated the mode of operation, raising the quality of service activities,
vocational consulting and training, supporting farmers to develop production
and business. Relating to the propaganda and advocacy work with the service,
counseling and job training activities, the Center always assist the farmers in
the area to develop their production and business and raise their incomes. They
also help the farmers to participate in the collective economic forms, cooperate
in economic development to improve the living standards.
The center has been assisting a lot of
farmers within the province with the input such as the selection of animal
breeds and seedlings which are suitable for each soil in each district. In
parallel with these, the center has made a survey and has taught the farmers
the necessary techniques to take care of agricultural products with high
efficiency. At the same time, the centre has also helped the farmers look for
and find the output for agricultural products in the province. Specifically,
the center has combined with the supermarkets and wholesale markets to
advertise the products, and step by step to export them to foreign countries
through trade fairs, agricultural product markets.
In the whole province, many localities have
set up cooperative groups to collaboratively produce and sell products for
farmers. For example, Luong Son district has set up a number of cooperatives
specializing in agricultural products, vegetables, roots and fruits, and Dong
Suong organic agricultural cooperative is a typical example. At present, the
products of Dong Suong Cooperative are very popular among consumers, especially
in the area of Hanoi.
