(HBO) -The Transport Trade Union has 15 union bases, of which there are 10 533 administrative unions, 5 unions of joint stock companies with the total number of workers and employees. For many years, the Trade Union has collaborated with the government to promote the patriotic emulation movement, trying to complete the political tasks of the industry and the superior trade unions.

The officials and employees from the
Department of Transport closely follow the ground, direct removing the
difficulties to clear the ground and speed up the construction progress of the
road project connecting with Ho Chi Minh road, 12B Highway to Highway 1.
In 2018, the workers’ situation of employment
and life is basically stable. The labor relations are harmonious, there are no
complaints and pressure.
In 2018, the Department of Transport
continued to maintain the effectiveness of patriotic emulation movement, which
was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as an excellent one. The
quality, effectiveness and efficiency of the state management of the transport
industry continue to be raised. The Department advised the Provincial People's
Committee to issue many legal documents in the transport industry to improve
the effectiveness of direction and administration to solve issues related to
the investment in the construction of Hoa Lac - Hoa Binh highway, Hoa Binh 2
bridge project, Hoa Binh 4 bridge, the connecting road from Ba Sao temple to
Bai Dinh pagoda; Hoa Binh - Moc Chau - Son La highway. The Department of
Transport also submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for the
consideration and the issuance of plans, the adjustment of planning for car
parks, the transport development, the supplementary planning of roads and
locations to connect horizontal lines to the national roads in the area.
The Department has coordinated with the other
local sectors ties to solve the difficulties in the land clearance, speeding up
many key traffic projects such as roads connecting Ho Chi Minh road with 12B
National Road to 1 National Highway; 345 Binh Thanh Road - Thung Nai - Ngoi Hoa
and so on with a view to exploiting the advantages, developing tourism in Hoa
Binh lake and Mai Chau and exploiting the advantages of developing tourism,
ecology, agriculture and industry under the planning.
The management of construction investment,
maintenance of transport infrastructure has been strengthened. The evaluating
quality of the investment projects for transport ones in the area has also been
improved, contributing to reducing the investment costs in building and
improving the efficiency of state budget use. In 2018, the Department of
Transport has directed functional forces to coordinate with local agencies to
implement the solutions which help overcome the consequences of flood and rain
and ensure good traffic in the shortest time.
The Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh province held a conference on March 18 to review the performance of the "Safe and Happy School" Project and set out tasks for 2025. The project, funded by the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF), aims to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for students. The event saw the attendance of representatives from the TFCF and 26 beneficiary schools.
