(HBO) – Hoa Binh province has held a meeting to review local security and social order affairs and the "All people protect the Fatherland’s security” movement in 2018, and to launch tasks for 2019. The event was chaired by Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Quang, seeing the attendance of Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Cuu, and representatives of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS).
In 2018,
the province’s Steering Board 09 actively gave proposals to the provincial
Party Committee and People’s Committee regarding the direction of local
agencies, sectors, organisations and district administrations to step up
relevant activities. They have mobilised the synergy of the whole political
system and all people in the combat against crimes, including human
trafficking, drugs and prostitution, and the "All people protect the
Fatherland’s security” movement. As a result, Hoa Binh has gained many
important outcomes, helping to ensure security and order for local
socio-economic development.

Addressing the meeting, Vice Secretary of the
provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee
Nguyen Van Quang asked the public security force to continue bringing into play
its key role in keeping local security and order, improving proposals given to
the administration, and enhancing coordination with sectors, all-level
authorities and localities in realising the six focal tasks.
He also requested the force to keep a good grasp
of the local situation so as to stay active in any circumstances. Notably, it
is necessary to mobilise the combined strength of the whole political system
and all people in fighting against crimes, handling drug addicts, reducing
traffic accidents and expanding the "All people protect the Fatherland’s
security” movement.
That will greatly help to keep security and
order to serve local socio-economic development, he added.
At the meeting, the MPS presented three
emulation flags and 11 certificates of merit to collectives with excellent performance
in the "All people protect the Fatherland’s security” movement in Hoa Binh. The
provincial People’s Committee also presented one emulation flag and four
certificates of merit to collectives with outstanding achievements in the work
in 2018./.
The Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh province held a conference on March 18 to review the performance of the "Safe and Happy School" Project and set out tasks for 2025. The project, funded by the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF), aims to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for students.
