(HBO) – Anti-drug police office of the northern mountainous province of Hoa Binh joined hands with their colleagues in Dong Tien ward of Hoa Binh city to capture three drug-related suspects.
Authorities also seized drugs of many types
including crystal methamphetamine,
synthetic drugs, heroin and opium.
At 1.15 pm on February 18, Tran Quang Suat,
born in 1953 and residing in Group 1 of Dong Tien ward, was caught red-handed
for smuggling and keeping drugs illegally by a team of the provincial anti-drug
police, in cooperation with Dong Tien ward police.

During investigation, competent agencies
discovered and seized drugs of various types hidden in his house, particularly
1,214 meth pills, three packs of drug weighing 303.61g, one heroin brick
weighing about 350g and a opium pack of 381.73g, along with 340 million VND (14,740
USD) in cash.
Suat admitted that he purchased the drugs from
two men of the Mong ethnic group for trafficking and for his personal use.
After an expanded probe, authorities arrested
two suspects for drug smuggling. They were Lu A Cha, born in 1983 and Mua A Ho,
born in 1994, both residing in Chieng Sai, Bac Yen of the neighbouring province
of Son La.
