(HBO) – The Hoa Binh provincial People's Committee has just issued Official Letter No. 1231/UBND-KTN directing localities and agencies to speed up the implementation of the national target programme for socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas and mountainous areas.

The Chairman of the provincial People's Committee requested departments, divisions, and branches to urgently advise, urge, and guide districts and cities in implementing projects under the programme. Departments and agencies were asked to speed up the disbursement of the funding they are allocated in 2022 and 2023.

People's Committees of districts and Hoa Binh city were asked to direct their departments, People's Committees of communes and townships to speed up the preparation, appraisal, approval, and implementation of allocated capital under the programme.

The People's Committees of the districts of Kim Boi, Da Bac, Tan Lac, and Luong Son were asked to coordinate with relevant agencies to complete procedures and start projects on stabilising the population in Cuoi Ha commune (Kim Boi district), Duoc hamlet, Nhanh Nghe commune (Da Bac district), Van Son commune (Tan Lac district), as well as the construction of inter-commune roads.

The chairman of the provincial People's Committee ordered the provincial Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs to coordinate with relevant departments, agencies, and sectors in urgently reviewing documents that provide instruction for the programme implementation and then propose amendments if needed.

Relevant parties were asked to review, assess and report the programme implementation to competent authorities.
