In recent years, the patriotic emulation movement has been deployed more and more widely by all the levels and branches in Cao Phong district, attracting the participation of a large number of officials and people. From the patriotic emulation movement, many typical groups and individuals have appeared. Thereby, it has created the motivation to contribute to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of the local socio-economic development.

According to the introduction of the District’s Internal Affairs Department, we visited Ms. Vu Thi Bien, a teacher at Bac Phong Primary and Secondary School, who is a typical example of the social and charity work. Since 2019, Ms. Bien has been assigned to be a permanent officer of the Community Learning Center (CLC) in Bac Phong commune. Ms. Bien has coordinated with the appropriate departments, branches, unions, and club leaders to organize exciting and practical activities for the center. She had the initiative "Effectively organizing the activities of the CLC to benefit the people of Bac Phong commune”, which was recognized by the District People's Committee. In 2022 and 2023, Ms. Bien won the first prize in the Good Reporter Contest of Cao District’s CLC. In 2023, she was awarded a certificate of merit by the Ministry of Education and Training for outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Innovation and creativity in management, teaching and learning”. In recent years, Bac Phong Commune’s Learning Community Center has always been ranked best in the entire district. However, the people of Cao Phong district know Ms. Bien better for contributing to the effective implementation of the emulation movement "For the poor - Leaving no one behind”.

Ms. Bien says: As a standing officer of the commune's CLC, in addition to my professional practice, I am also the Deputy Head of Cao Phong Green Volunteer Group. With the spirit of "mutual solidarity”, over the years, I have always cooperated with the benefactors to help those who are in difficult situations and unexpected risks inside and outside the district. The volunteer group has supported the construction of 11 charity houses in Bac Phong, Nam Phong, and Thach Yen communes with a total value of 404 million VND. We have presented gifts to the families of wounded and sick soldiers in difficult circumstances affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and difficult circumstances in the communes and the towns throughout the district. 0-dong market has been organized in Nam Phong and Bac Phong communes and there have been many other volunteer activities.

Mr. Bui Dang Khoa, the Head of the Internal Affairs Department of Cao Phong district, says: The patriotic movement has been deployed widely in all areas of the social life by party committees, the appropriate authorities, departments, branches, and organizations from the district to the communes, attracting the participation of a large number of people from all walks of life. In 2023, all levels and sectors have effectively organized and implemented the key initiatives launched by the Prime Minister, including "The whole country join hands to build new rural areas”; "For the poor - leaving no one behind.” "Officers, civil servants, and public employees emulate the implementation of the office culture”. At the same time, they have organized and deployed the implementation of key events in batches and topics launched by the Provincial People's Committee. In the field of agricultural and forestry and fishery production, they continue to promote the emulation movement: "Farmers in Cao Phong district compete for good production and business”’

"Competing for conversion of plant and animal varieties”, and "Competing for forest management and protection”... Thanks to that, the structure of crops and livestock continues to be transformed in a direction that meets the needs of the market, converting from the ineffective crops to the crops with high economic value. The emulation movement in the fields of industrial production, handicrafts, trade, and services has been promoted. In the financial field, the bank has implemented many solutions with the focus being the movement "Emulation for the excellent completion of the State budget collection and remittance tasks; Accelerating the progress of tasks to deploy the key projects in Cao Phong district in the period of 2023 - 2025". The emulation movement in the cultural and social fields has been widely spreading. Implementing the emulation movement in the district’s armed forces has been contributing to ensuring the social order and safety in the area.

In 2024, the district launches the emulation movement with the theme: the Party Committee, the government, the armed forces, the business community, and the people of all ethnic groups in Cao Phong district "Disciplined responsibility; timely initiative; accelerating creativity, sustainable efficiency” to successfully implement the socio-economic targets and tasks in 2024. The district has focused on directing the implementation of the solutions to promote the patriotic movement, trying to achieve and exceed the major targets set for 2024: the economic growth reaches 9.5%. The economic structure changes in a positive direction, in which agriculture - forestry - fishery reaches 36.8%; industry, handicrafts, and construction reaches 32.5%; tourism and services reach 30.7%. The state budget revenue in the area reaches 50,400 million VND. Per capita income reaches 62 million VND. The rate of the multidimensional poor household decreases to 4.5%...
