In the morning of August 26th, the South Korean non-governmental organization Good Neighbors International (GNI) donated 36 projectors with a value of over 900 million VND, to the schools in Hoa Binh City.
The representative from GNI in Hoa Binh was handing over the donation to the People's Committee of Hoa Binh City.
After receiving the projectors, GNI will assist in installing, setting up, and providing usage guidance for 35 schools across 18 wards and communes in the area. This initiative aims to enhance the educational conditions in the local schools.
GNI was established in South Korea in 1991 and now operates in over 45 countries worldwide. Since 2009, GNI has been implementing foreign non-governmental aid projects in Hoa Binh City. Currently, the project for "Hoa Binh City Community Development, 2024-2028”, funded by GNI, is being carried out in eight wards and communes including Thinh Lang, Thai Binh, Dan Chu, Thong Nhat, Yen Mong, Hoa Binh, Hop Thanh and Quang Tien. The project's activities are organized into various sectors, including child sponsorship, education and child protection, public health, livelihood development, and humanitarian aid. The committed aid budget for the 2024-2028 period is 1,089,000 USD.
