The Standing Board of the Hoa Binh Party Committee convened a session on June 18 under the chair of Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, to discuss important matters related to the socio-economic development of the locality.

At the session, members of the board reviewed and gave feedback on proposals submitted by the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee concerning multiple development projects and plans. These included the approval to develop a detailed subdivision plan at a scale of 1:2000 for Suoi Hoa commune in Tan Lac district. This area is part of the master plan for the National Tourism Area of Hoa Binh Lake.

They also considered investment projects for several new urban areas. One project is the Legacy Eco Green Urban Area located in Tan Vinh and Cu Yen communes, Luong Son district. Another is the Kim Boi Noi Sung Urban Area in Bo township, Kim Boi district. Additionally, the Hoa Son Urban Area project in Hoa Son commune, Luong Son district, was reviewed.

Infrastructure upgrades were also discussed, including the renovation and improvement of provincial Road 437, which connects Vu Ban and Cam Thuy, as well as the construction of a segment of National Route 37C from DT.438 to the Ho Chi Minh Road within the province.

Board members addressed the establishment of industrial clusters in the province, alongside a project for exploiting clay stone as a raw material for cement production in Huu Loi commune, Yen Thuy district.

Educational infrastructure was another key focus, with the review of a project to construct Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted.

Healthcare investment plans were considered, specifically the purchase of a linear accelerator system for cancer radiotherapy and a computed tomography (CT) simulator for Hoa Binh General Hospital.

Finally, the committee evaluated proposals to adjust and supplement the 2025 development investment capital, funded by the State budget, to implement three national target programmes in the province.

Delivering the concluding remarks, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long agreed to approve all proposals and assigned the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee the responsibility of directing provincial authorities to implement these projects in accordance with existing regulations.

He emphasised the urgent need to ensure the smooth operational transition of the newly merged grassroots administrative units. The provincial People’s Committee was instructed to coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to establish a working group responsible for inspecting, reviewing, and proposing specific solutions to upgrade infrastructure. This includes enhancing facilities, network connections, electrical systems, software, and equipment to support the operation of the Public Service Centre.

The provincial leader stressed the importance of repairing and maintaining official residences to guarantee adequate working conditions and resources for staff during the reorganisation of administrative units, as well as throughout the trial operation of the new organisational structure.

Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, the alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to provide opinions on several investment projects within the province. There was the attendance of Ms. Bui Thi Minh, the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Bui Đuc Hinh, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and other members of the Standing Committee; the leaders from other departments, agencies, and some localities.

Hoa Binh delegation visits officers, soldiers on Truong Sa, DK1 platform

A delegation from Hoa Binh province led by Colonel Trinh Duc Thiem, Commander of the provincial Military Command, completed a mission to visit and encourage officers and soldiers stationed on Truong Sa and a DK1 platform from May 20 to 26 as part of activities of the Vietnam People’s Navy. The delegation included 12 senior officials from various provincial agencies and units.
