Starting from July 20, the Hanoi Transport and Services Corporation (Transerco) will offer a cheaper fare of VND 196,000 for a ticket valid for two hours for visitors taking the double-decker city Hop on - Hop off tour.

Earlier, during its first month operation, the tour offered visitors three price options, starting at VND 300,000 for a ticket valid for four hours, VND 450,000 for 24 hours, and VND 650,000 for 48 hours.

The addition of the new cheaper tour fare targets visitors who wants to explore all of the 30 most popular tourist attractions in Hanoi without having a stop throughout the tour.

Transerco also asked for approval from the Hanoi city Department of Transport to operate night tours for the service, departing from 19:30 and 20:30 everyday, starting from August 1.

A number of promotional programmes have also been launched to attract visitors, including free tickets for children aged under 6, discounted tickets for tourists traveling in groups larger than 10, and free tour guides.
