(HBO) – The An Lac Eco Farm and Hot Springs site in Vinh Dong commune is quite new as compared with other eco-tourism destinations in Kim Boi district. With hot mineral water, fresh climate and poetic scenery, it is a perfect weekend retreat.

Outdoor parties and folk games organised at An Lac Eco Farm and Hot Springs in Vinh Dong commune, Kim Boi district

Nestled in the forest, An Lac Eco Farm and Hot Springs is dubbed a "fairy garden” in the modern era. Visitors can bathe in Kim Boi warm mineral water, use spa services, ride bicycles around the site, and enjoy the fresh climate and poetic scenery.

Traveling in big groups, visitors can stay in stilt houses surrounded with flower gardens, or family rooms each with 12 bunk beds. If the groups are smaller, they should stay in luxurious hotels.

Children can participate in activities such as stick walking, kite flying, swinging, statue painting, football, skiing, vegetable growing, ice making, and swimming, among others.

Taking advantage of the precious warm mineral water, An Lac has invested in building swimming pools, mineral hot tubs, saunas, indoor massage services and outdoor infinity pools to meet the diverse needs of visitors.

For dinners, visitors are treated to traditional dishes like com lam (sticky rice steamed in bamboo tubes), deep-fried stream fish and crispy pork, along with garden vegetables.

During weekends and holidays, the site offers art performances featuring cultural identities of the Muong ethnic group, including fan dancing and bamboo pole dancing. There would be campfires and lantern release at night.

To Thi Ngoc Hoa, a tourist from Hanoi’s Hoang Mai district, said this is the fourth time she and her family, friends and colleagues have visited An Lac.

Hoa said she was lured by the beautiful scenery, fresh air and services there, adding that she will surely come back An Lac.

With diverse services, An Lạc Eco Farm and Hot Springs, about two hours driving from Hanoi, has become a big magnet to holidaymakers.
