(HBO) - The rovincial Tourism Steering Committee has issued Plan No. 31/KH-BCDDL dated on February 17, 2023 on tourism development in Hoa Binh province in 2023.


Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant is a tourism attraction that always attracts tourists.

The Steering Committee has set the following objectives: Well performing the state management of tourism; concentrating the development resources on exploiting the resolutions, programs, plannings and the projects of the central and local tourism development. It is also suggested strongly promoting the public-private cooperation and expanding the domestic and international links for tourism development. Hoa Binh province is trying to welcome 3,500,000 turnsd of visitors, of which there are 450,000 turns of international visitorsand 3,050,000 turns of domestic visitors.

Accordingly, the tasks set forth by the Board of the Steering Committee regarding to the state management are as follows: Actively advising the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee to promote propaganda and dissemination of the Party's and the State’s guidelines, policies and laws on tourism to all levels, branches, localities, organizations and individuals doing business in tourism in the whole province. It is imporrtant to direct the functional branches to effectively implement the administrative reform, receive and handle the proposals and recommendations of tourism businesses; focusing on supporting to solve difficulties and problems for investors when they implement the tourism projects; inspecting the implementation of the provincial and local tourism development master plans, schemes and plans; the progress of investment projects to develop tourism in the province. Improving the efficiency of management for tourism business activities in the field of accommodation, travel and tourism transport. The security, social safety, environment, food safety at the touriss resorts, spots and the places where many tourists gather must be ensured; strictly handling the organizations, the businesses and the individuals that do not comply with the regulations on tourism activities in accordance with the law…

It is suggested continuing to advise on the effective implementation of the resolutions, the programs, the master plans, the schemes and the plans for the central and local tourism development. The capital sources for investment in infrastructure have been mobilized, giving priority to the investment in tourism infrastructure to build Hoa Lac expressway to Hoa Binh city and to Moc Chau; opening the routes to some tourism spots with natural resource in Kim Boi and Lac Son districts. The investment resources haver been mobilized to restore and embellish the historical, cultural, and scenic relics so that they can become the tourism attractions; npaying attention to building, renovating and upgrading the toilets to serve tourists in the tourism areas and spots; implementing the projects to support the development of the community tourism spots; continuing to invest in upgrading electricity and water systems, especially information and communication the infrastructure systems at a number of tourism attractions in the highland communes with the potential to attract investment in tourism development; focusing on attracting investment, developing tourism; considering and inviting investors who are large corporations with experience, brand and capacity to invest in tourism technical facilities to build the tourism products of high quality and putting them into service to welcome tourists.

The Provincial Tourism Steering Committee has also requested to strengthen the propaganda and promotion of tourism; developing tourism products; training and fostering the human resources; linking and cooperating in tourism development and strengthening propaganda on environmental protection in tourism activities...
