Hoa Binh City People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 3731/KH-UBND on organizing the Festival of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Muong village.
Accordingly, the festival is held in Muong Bich Tru village, Hoa Binh commune, Hoa Binh city at the end of November with many attractive activities. Specifically, at the festival there are many cultural and artistic activities, folk games, and national sports competitions (shuttle throwing, stick pushing, crossbow shooting, tug of war). In particular, at the festival there will be kayak racing and motorized paragliding demonstrations; displaying the typical cultural space of the Muong ethnic group; the typical tourism products and the decoration of the youth flower garden.
Within the framework of the festival, Hoa Binh city organizes a tour program to visit Hoa Binh lake - the cultural space of Muong Bich Tru village - Giang waterfall; a visit to Hoa Binh lake - the cultural space of Muong Bich Tru village - Giang waterfall - Thac Bo God temple; a visit to the city's tourism attractions (Hoa Binh Hydroelectric Power Plant, Phat Quang Pagoda, historical revolutionary relic of Hoa Binh Prison, Muong Cultural Space Museum...).
The Festival of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Muong village is organized to promote its unique features; creating the linkages for sustainable tourism development, creating a supply chain of quality, unique and attractive tourism products; honoring the local cultural identity, especially Muong culture to attract tourists to Hoa Binh city.
Alongside the diverse cultural identities of the Kinh, Muong, Tay, Thai, Dao, and Mong ethnic people, Hoa Binh province is also renowned as the "capital" of the northwestern Vietnamese cuisine, offering unique and distinctive dishes. At festivals, during Lunar New Year (Tet), or on significant family or community occasions, special dishes are prepared, leaving a lasting impression on visitors.
