In the evening of November the first, in Lac Son district, the Provincial People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the 2024 Highland Market in Hoa Binh province with the theme "Market – the Beauty of the highlands”. In the opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Head of the Market Organizing Committee, affirms that the market is organized on a provincial scale and it is an important event with the practical economic significance in economy, politics and society to promote the economic and trade relations with a view to introducing the products of the ethnic minority areas and expanding the cooperation between the localities in the province and across the country. This is also an opportunity for businesses, cooperatives, and production and business establishments to access markets, reach consumers, find partners and expand product consumption markets inside and outside the province. It also helps develop products with the competitive advantages, promoting the introduction and consumption of the traditional products, and unique products, especially products under the OCOP and tourism ecological products, the products of culture and history, contributing to the socio-economic development of the localities in the province.
