According to the Department of Statistics of Hoa Binh Province, in January 2025, industrial production in the province changed positively. The province's industrial production index increased by 4.44% compared to December 2024, up 2.82% over the same period last year. Notably, the electricity production and distribution industry grew strongly, ensuring the demand for electricity during Tet.

Specifically, in January, Hoa Binh Province's electricity production output was estimated at 485 million kWh, up 54.76% over the previous month; the mining industry increased by 35.1% over the same period last year. The processing and manufacturing industry decreased by 6.3%, and the water supply industry increased by 4.58% over the same period last year.

In 2025, Hoa Binh province will continue to promote industrial restructuring, focusing on supporting industries. It will focus on restructuring linkage chains to serve industrial production. It will promote attracting investment projects in industrial parks and clusters. It will also strengthen industrial promotion, focusing on training and developing traditional handicrafts associated with tourist destinations and export production.

The program with the highest disbursement was the employment solution program, with nearly 29 billion VND loaned to 1,271 customers.
