(HBO) - During 3 days, 20-22 March, at the center of Provincial Youth Union, the Department of Education and Training coordinated with Provincial Youth Union to hold the competition of the 2018 Excellent School Youth Secretary. Participating in the contest were 24 Secretaries of the Youth Union at high schools in the province.


The organizers awarded the first prize for the two contestants having the best performance at the competition.

 In the first round, each contestant brought an idea to "offer suggestion to build the Youth Union" and carried out a general knowledge test. Based on the results, the examiners have selected 22 candidates to enter the second round, competing in content of solving case studies and talents.

According to the organizers’ evaluation, the quality of the contestants ‘performance is quite equal, many difficult knowledge questions in many different areas, many difficult situations are presented, however with their knowledge, skills, the candidates have completed the exam well and satisfied the audience. Especially, in the talented contest, contestants have shown their talents throughout songs and dancing, etc. which were elaborately prepared and staged with creativity.

 The competition is aimed to test, assess the knowledge, competence of practical activities, timely praise the Excellent School Youth Secretaries. At the same time, this is a chance to create opportunities for the Youth Union staff of high schools to learn and share experiences, thereby improving the quality of the Youth Union movements at schools.

At the end of the competition, the contestant Ms. Dao Thi Ngoc Anh- the Youth Union Secretary of Cong Nghiep High School (Hoa Binh city); Ms. Le Thi Loan – the Youth Union Secretary of Lac Long Quan High School (Hoa Binh city) outstandingly won the first prizes. The organizers also awarded 4 second prizes, 6 third prizes and 10 consolation prizes for the contestants; the Department of Education and Training awarded the title of teachers working as the provincial Excellent School Youth Secretaries for 22 candidates.
