Nearly 100 fliers from clubs nationwide and overseas will compete in a paragliding race, entitled ‘Fly over Tien Sa’, which will take place in the central coastal city of Da Nang on June 22-24.

The event is held jointly by the Da Nang city People’s Committee, the
Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Da Nang Paragliding Club.
It is among a series of artistic,
cultural and sporting activities in response to the city’s Summer Rendezvous
programme, which is hosted annually by the city authorities in order to promote
Da Nang
tourism.
As scheduled, pilots will take off from
Ban Co peak on Son Tra peninsula, which is located at 600 metres above sea
level, and land on Man Thai beach.
Particularly, from June 21 to 24, members of the
Vietwings Hanoi Paragliding Club will provide a double glider service to offer
visitors at the festival an opportunity to admire the panoramic views of Da Nang city from above.

In the final days of May, the Ethnic Art Troupe of Hoa Binh Province organized performances to serve the people in remote, mountainous, and particularly disadvantaged areas within the province. These were not just ordinary artistic shows, but they were the meaningful journeys aimed at spreading cultural values, enhancing the spiritual life of the people and contributing to the preservation of ethnic minority cultural identities.
