The beautiful photo contest, video clips promoting tourist area of Hoa Binh lake in 2019 with the theme "Tourism in Hoa
Binh Lake - attractive and charming" to introduce and promote images,
people, cultural identities unique, beautiful natural landscapes, cultural
heritage, historical sites, festivals and attractive products.
Thereby, selecting beautiful photos, good video clips that are
attractive and leave alot impressions for viewers. These are documents for
propaganda and promotion for tourist area of Hoa Binh lake.
Participants are Vietnamese citizens who live and work in and outside
the province; Professional and non-professional photographers of the province,
domestic and international.
The works of taking photos and video clips must be done at the Hoa Binh lake
tourist site with clear themes and contents, clearly and peculiarly reflecting
on human resources and tourism resources.
The time to start taking the works begins on June 24 to September 24/2019.
The works are sent to the Tourism Management Department - Department of
Culture, Sports and Tourism. Address: No 5, An Duong Vuong Street, Hoa Binh
City, Hoa Binh province.
It is expected that the closing ceremony of awarding, presenting,
introducing the award-winning works and opening the exhibition in the occasion
of Hoa Binh Culture - Tourism Week, November 2019.

The clothing of women reflects the culture of the Muong, Thai, Tay, Dao, and Mong ethnic groups in the northern province of Hoa Binh.
Gongs hold a special place in the cultural and spiritual life of the Muong ethnic people in Hoa Binh province. More than musical instruments, they are an indispensable part of community rituals and collective memory, echoing through generations as a spiritual thread linking the past, present, and future.
Preserving and promoting the cultural values of the Muong ethnic group has become an urgent task in the current context, as many traditional values face the risk of fading away. This effort requires not only protecting the cultural identity but also eliminating outdated customs and developing a modern cultural lifestyle, contributing to sustainable values for the Muong community in Hoa Binh province.
The Muong ethnic culture, deeply rooted in Vietnam’s mountainous north, continues to be preserved and revitalised by dedicated individuals and communities determined to safeguard their ancestral identity.
