The performance imbued with the attractive cultural identity attracting tourists at the art program "Hoa Binh - Sound of Muong Land”.

Officially, it started in early July and there were only about 3 weeks to prepare. However, it can be said that the series of events of the art program "Hoa Binh - Sound of Muong Land”, receiving the national certificate for the intangible culture, Bamboo Calendar (Doi/Roi Calendar) and Khai Ha festival of Muong ethnic people in Hoa Binh province and Carnival festival in 2022 have made a deep impression in the hearts of the people. On the first day of the program's preliminary approval, thousands of residents from Hoa Binh city and the districts were present to observe. In particular, in the two days, July 30 - 31, the number of visitors flocking to the area of Chi Lang Street and Hoa Binh Square reached nearly 60,000 people. The program was broadcast live on national television and was continuously updated by many newspapers and social networking sites. According to the general perception of many people, the show was really a spectacular and attractive music and light party from the first performance to the last one. That result, according to Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Head of the Organizing Committee of the program, comes from the meaning as well as the theme of the program. "The first wish is to honor the unique traditional values of the nation, to promote the potential, advantages, and beauties of the people, the land of Hoa Binh and especially to mark the return after Covid-19 pandemics, the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with Sun Group to build this program” - emphasized Mr. Nguyen Van Toan.

In order to do the organization stage well, from the beginning of July, the Provincial People's Committee established the Program’s Organizing Committee, developed a plan to organize the program and assigned the specific tasks to each member. The assisting sub-committees were established in detailing each task. It was necessary to assign clear people and task in the organization and administration stage from the content, propaganda, logistics, security and health assurance. Directly in charge of the program's content, Ms. Bui Thi Niem, the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee said: We determined that there was a combination of traditional and modern elements in the program. The program not only honors the national culture but it also promotes the beauty of the culture, the people and the homeland of Hoa Binh. At the same time, it is possible to send the message that Hoa Binh's cultural heritage is extremely massive and unique, thereby it helps upholding the conservation spirit of the people in the province. As shared by the Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, many heritages and cultural quintessence of the ethnic groups were honored and introduced to domestic and international friends through special performances, which were mixed with the ethnic and modern. In which, it must be mentioned the performance of Muong gongs in many performances. The sound of gongs resounding in harmony with modern music created a unique and lively combination. In particular, the highlight of the program is the scene of Khai Ha Festival of 4 Muong Lands, which was elaborately and spectacularly staged. Mr. Vu Anh Tuan, the director and music manager of the art program "Hoa Binh - The Sound of Muong Land” shared: We only had 3 weeks to prepare. However, with the very clear orientation of the province, when developing the scenario we determined how to highlight the quintessence of Hoa Binh culture, respecting the local culture. After 2 nights of preliminary review and rehearsal, we continued receiving the contributions from the Organizing Committee, every small detail was corrected, commented, and searched for props to support the crew. Thanks to that, we have created the special and unique performances of the province only.

The program has ended, howerver, the echo of the event is still quite deep in the hearts of tourists and the people from Hoa Binh province. On the social networking sites, it is not difficult to recognize the impressive images from the program that have "stained” the news feeds of facebook, zalo, instagram... Accompanying the memorable moments at the event, many people can't help being proud of the unique values of the traditional culture which are expressed boldly in the program. According to many audiences, who directly experienced the street festival and the art program, it was a successful program in many ways, from the attractive program content, creating its own highlight and having a wide spread. The people also highly appreciated the organization of the program, the traffic separation, ensuring security and order, disease prevention and control, and ensuring food safety and hygiene. The series of art program events "Hoa Binh - The Sound of Muong Land” and Carnival in 2022 ended with a brilliant fireworks display. However, with the spread of the program, it is believed that the opportunities for Hoa Binh tourism will be opened in the future. According to the organizers, the goal of the province is to make the art program "Hoa Binh - Sound of Muong” become a brand associated with the annual events to attract tourists. At the same time, it is also an opportunity for businesses, investors, and owners of tourism destinations to join hands with the management agencies in developing tourism business, bringing the excitement of cultural events to Hoa Binh, a potential destination waiting to be awakened.
