(HBO) - Every year, in Hang Tram town (Yen Thuy) there is at least 75% of the residential areas being recognized as the cultural residential area. The movement "all people unite to build a cultural life” has been agreed and responded by the officials and the people, becoming a regular job in the residential areas.



The volleyball teams in the residential areas of Hang Tram town (Yen Thuy) regularly organize exchanges and competitions.

Thanh Binh neighborhood is one of the typical cultural residential areas with the achievement of 5 consecutive years (2018 - 2022) maintaining the title of the cultural residential area. Mr. Tran Van Doan, the head of the area proudly says: The people in the neighborhood always promote their autonomy and voluntarily participate in the activities and the movements to build the cultural life and the democratic conventions in the residential area. In particular, the households well implement the regulations on self-governance in the community, thereby it helps promoting the solidarity in implementating the law and the regulations on the civilized lifestyle in marriage and funeral which are simple. The people in the area comply with the regulations not to use tobacco, pipe tobacco, and alcohol in the meeting, wedding and funeral areas.

Hang Tram town is also one of the units with the vibrant and widespread movements of culture, arts, physical training and sports. 17 out of the 17 residential areas have established the cultural teams, sports clubs, clubs of rhythmic gymnastics and folk dance... In addition to volleyball, which attracts the participation of a large number of women, farmers and elderly people, the party committee and the local government also create conditions for the operation of the mini football fields, contributing to promoting the sport movement among the youth and pioneer. Notably, there is the town’s fitness club, attracting more than 800 elderly people to participate. The table tennis club has many core members who are selected to compete in the provincial tournament by the district.

In addition, the town has been payong attention to the family work, 100% of the neighborhoods have established the family clubs for sustainable development. The group of domestic violence prevention and control has been gathering the participation of many members, the movement of building the family according to the four criteria "Enjoyment - happiness - equality – progress” has been implemented. In the past many years, there have been no domestic violence requiring intervention, handling and reconciliation in the area. Some family conflicts have been encouraged and resolved by the unions in the residential area.

According to Mr. Pham Van Di, the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hang Tram town, the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life” has been considered as a key task in socio-economic development, and it is included in the resolution of the People's Council and institutionalized by the town’s People's Committee with the annual goals and tasks. In the whole town, there are 17 neighborhoods with 3,486 households. After merging the administrative boundaries, there are a number of agricultural residential areas in the area, including: Tan Khanh, Khan Chong, Lac Vuong, Tay Bac, Ca, Yen Hoa, Dong Yen and Yen Son. The advantage in the implementation of the movement is that the education level is quite uniform, the people actively respond and agree. Currently, 17 out of the 17 residential areas have the cultural houses, 24 places for the cultural activities and physical sports. The campus of every cultural house has a hall with a capacity of 70-180 people and an institutional system for the cultural activities, sports playgrounds for all ages to serve the needs of the cultural and spiritual activities for the people's health.

As a result of the review in 2022, Hang Tram town has 97% of households achieving the title of the cultural family; 14 out of the 17 residential areas achieved the title of the cultural residential area; the town, the agencies and 6 out of the 6 schools have met the cultural standards. In addition, the town has achieved the standard of "Safety in terms of security and order”; 95.4% of the households has achieved the title of "Learning family”… The movement is increasingly being promoted, contributing to improving the quality of life, meeting the criteria of a civilized city.
