(HBO) – The organizers of the 6th Sports and Physical Training Competitions at all levels in Hoa Binh province in 2018 has organized the Chess- Draught Chapionship of Hoa Binh Province in 2018. This is the ninth or tenth sport subject in the agenda of the 6th Sports and Physical Training Competitions of Hoa Binh Province.

There were nearly 100 players participating in the championship who come from 10 districts and the city competing for 3 medal sets (2 medal sets for Draught and 1 set for Chess). For Chess, the players competed according to the Swiss circus; in Chess, the players were divided into table competing in one round and mark counted.

After 2 days of competing intensively, attractively and seriously, the organizers rewarded medals for high achievers. In Draught: For men, the first prize was given to Vu Ngoc Anh (Lac Thuy), the second prize was given to Nguyen Ngoc Toan (Luong Son), the third one was for Vu Ngoc Long (Lac Thuy). For women: the first prize was given to Duong Hong Ha (Cao Phong), the second prize was for Luong Kim Tuyen (Tan Lac), the third one was given to Bui Thi My (Lac Son). In Chess, the first prize was given to Nguyen Tat Thawng (Lac Thuy), the second prize was given to Bui Van Quynh (Cao Phong), the third prize was given to Quach Trung Dung (Kim Boi).

This championship is aimed to mobilize, encourage and promote the movements of sports training in general and Chess- Draught playing in the province in particular, as well as select the outstanding players to train and compete at the 8th National Sports and Physical Training Competition in 2018.
