(HBO) – From 8-11/1, the Department of Education and Training in Kim Boi District organized the football championship of Phu Dong Youth Festival for secondary and primary pupils in 2018. The championship has gathered 35 football teams with more than 300 players from 32 primary and secondary school pupils in the district. In which, there were 16 football teams of primary schools and 19 football teams of secondary schools.

During 3 days of eager competition, there were 50 matches with a total of 277 goals scored, many players contributed to the beautiful matches with lovely football scenes for the audience. The football championship is a chance for pupils at primary and secondary schools in the district to communicate, learn and practice their physical training. At the same time, through the tournament, the organizer would select excellent players to participate in the district team for practicing and preparing for the football championship of Phu Dong Youth Festival of Hoa Binh Province in 2018.
At the end of the championship, the organizer awarded 2 first prizes for Nam Thuong primary and secondary school and Bo town secondary school; 2 second prizes were awarded to Kim Binh Primary School and Nam Thuong primary and secondary school; 4 third prizes were awarded for Dong Bac primary school, Kim Truy primary school, Ha Bi secondary school, Kim Boi primary and secondary ethnic boarding school. The organizer awarded some other prizes: the excellent player was awarded for Bui Trung Hieu – Ha Bi secondary school, Nguyen Xuan Son – Kim Binh primary school, the best goalkeepers were Trinh Quang Vinh - Nam Thuong primary and secondary school and Bui Duc Thanh – Dong Bac primary school, the most scored players were Le Tien Phuc – Bo Town secondary school and Bui Van Quang - Nam Thuong primary and secondary school.
On March 23rd, in Mai Chau district, 5 competition distances of Vietnam Ultra Marathon in 2024 (Vietnam Ultra Marathon 2024 - VUM 2024) organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mai Chau District’s People's Committee, Co., Ltd. Phu Thinh (Topas Travel) took place. This is the latest running race in the Topas Vietnam Trail Series and was held in Mai Chau district for the first time.
From March 21st – 23rd, the Department of Education and Training organized the Badminton - Table Tennis Tournament for students in Hoa Binh province in 2024.
The continuous sound of drums and the constant cheers of the viewers at each competition, the match have shown the appeal of the folk games.
