(HBO) – The Karate Federation of Hoa Binh Province has organized an Open Competition for Karate clubs in Hoa Binh province for the first time in 2018.
This year's Open
Karate competition was held in one day with the participation of more than 300
athletes from 18 divisions from districts, cities, sport and physical training
schools in the province and 13 clubs from the Northern provinces. The athletes
competed in 85 sets of medals, participating in four age groups: under 8, ages
from 9-11; ages from 12 - 16 years old and over 17 years old; the athletes
competed with the contents of Kata male - female individuals; Kata teams;
Kumite male- female individuals; Kumite team.
At the end of the competition,
the organizers awarded 58 gold medals, 58 silver medals and 116 bronze medals.
In total, the whole club of Lac Son district won the first prize with 12 gold
medals, 10 silver medals, 22 bronze medals; Ha Nam Club won the second prize
and Hanoi team won the third prize.

The Karate Open
Competition is one of the major karate sport activities in Hoa Binh province,
the competition is aimed to provide opportunities for athletes to exchange,
share experiences and practice training, then, it can help the provincial
Karate Federation have their own direction to select and focus on investment,
training young excellent athletes for training and participating in the
regional and national Competitions.
