Cueists of the Republic of Korea shone in the three-cushion carom category at the Asian Carom Billiards Championship 2018 held in Ho Chi Minh City on April 8, bringing home the top four prizes.

In the final round, Cho Jae-ho defeated his countryman Heo
Jung-han 40-28 to win the first prize and pocketed cash worth 2,000 USD. Heo
Jung-han received 1,200 USD in cash.
Choi Sung-won and Kim Haeng-jik, both Koreans, shared the third prize,
pocketing 600 USD each.
The five-day event started from April 4 and featured 50 leading cueists,
including 2017 Asian champion Nguyen Quoc Nguyen of Vietnam, world No 10, Choi
Sung-won of the Republic of Korea, world No 12 and Vietnamese Tran Quyet Chien,
world No 15.
However, Vietnam’s billiard players did not perform well in the three-cushion
carom category.
In the one-cushion carom category, Vietnam’s Ngo Dinh Nai won the first prize
with 1,000 in cash. On April 5, Nai beat his teammate Ma Minh Cam 100-83 in the
final to take the title for the second time.
The third prize went to Vietnam’s Pham Quoc Tuan and Lee Seung-jin of the
Republic of Korea, who earned 300 USD each.

In the afternoon of October 26th, at Hoa Binh Provincial Stadium, Hoa Binh Football Club (Hoa Binh FC) had a confrontation with Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club in the framework of round 1 – the First National Division Football Tournament in 2024 - 2025.
In the morning of October 22nd, at Yen Thuy District’s Stadium, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with Yen Thuy District’s People's Committee to organize the opening ceremony of the 2024 Volleyball Championship of Hoa Binh province.
