(HBO) - Luong Son District Labor Union has cooperated with the District Center of Culture and Sports to organize the Badminton League for workers and staff in Luong Son District in 2018.
The athletes compete in 12 contents
There are nearly 200 athletes from the 36
local delegations from the grassroots trade unions in the district. The
athletes competed in 12 sets of medals in 4 age groups (under 30 years old, 31
to 40 years old, 41 to 45 years old and 46 years old and over) in the content
of Men couples, Women couples and Double couples.
After two days of intense and dramatic
competition with the spirit of exchanges, solidarity, honesty and nobility, the
Badminton League for workers and staff of Luong Son district in 2018 has been
successfully completed. The organizers awarded 12 sets of gold, silver, bronze
medals to outstanding athletes and high achievers in the competition.
The league was organized to encourage
employees in the district enthusiastically to participate in physical and
sports training for improving their health, contributing to promote the
movement "All people do the exercise following the example of our great
Uncle Ho”. At the same time, this was also an opportunity for employees in the
district to exchange and share their work experiences in different fields and
sports organization movements in localities, units and establishments. This is
a realistic activity in response to "Worker Month of 2018" and the 128th
anniversary of Uncle Ho's birthday (19/5/1890 - 19/5/2018).
The organizers gave awards to
excellent athletes in the competition.
In two days, March 3rd – 4th, the Women's Union of Hoa Binh city coordinated with the Center for Culture, Sports and Information of the city to organize the 1st Women's Steam Volleyball Tournament in Hoa Binh in 2024.
Since early 2024, high-achievement sports athletes have received intensive training in preparation for provincial and national tournaments this year.

A wide range of folk games and traditional sports competitions, including archery, tug-of-war, stick pushing, and men's volleyball, have taken place in Phu Nghia commune, Lac Thuy district, as part of the opening ceremony of the local Tien Temple Festival on February 13th and 14th (the 4th and 5th day of the Lunar New Year).
For the people in Doc Lap commune (Hoa Binh city), crossbow shooting is a folk game, and over the time it has become an indispensable national sport in the major local holidays and festivals. In May 2020, the crossbow shooting club of Doc Lap commune was established, satisfying the passion of the crossbow lovers. This is a playground for the members to exchange and share experiences, contributing to promoting the spirit of community cohesion and enriching the cultural life of the people in the area at the same time.
On February 5th, the Organizing Committee of Hoa Binh Marathon in 2024 held a meeting to discuss and agree on the contents of the tournament and assign the tasks to the members of the Organizing Committee.
