* Russian police evacuated The Topos Congress-Hotel in the World Cup host city of Rostov-on-Don late on Tuesday (June 26) due to a suspected bomb threat, according to hotel staff and witnesses.

* Brazil coach Tite says their off-form superstar Neymar shouldn't be expected to shoulder their World Cup hopes and called on the Selecao to keep emotions in check against Serbia on Wednesday. * Roma have continued their transfer spree by signing attacking midfielder Javier Pastore from French champions Paris St Germain on a five-year contract for a fee of EUR24.7 million, the Serie A club said on Tuesday. Argentina international Pastore, who was omitted from the nation's 23-man World Cup squad, joined PSG in 2011 and has made 269 appearances across all competitions for the Ligue 1 side.

* Saudi Arabia have extended coach Juan Antonio Pizzi's contract until the end of the Asian Cup in February 2019, the FA said on Tuesday, a day after the 'Green Falcons' claimed a surprise victory over Egypt in their last World Cup game.

* Inter Milan have confirmed that terms have been agreed to sign former Belgium midfielder Radja Nainggolan from Serie A rivals Roma. Nainggolan, who retired from the national team after being omitted from Roberto Martinez's World Cup squad, scored 28 goals in 155 league appearances for Roma and was instrumental in their run to the Champions League semi-finals last season.

* Australian Open champion Caroline Wozniacki has called for 23-times Grand slam winner Serena Williams to be seeded at next month's Wimbledon Championships ahead of the All England Club's meeting on Tuesday. Williams, a seven-time winner of the Wimbledon singles title, could miss out on being named as one of the 32 seeds after she took maternity leave for the birth of her first child. The American, now ranked 181st, was unseeded at the French Open.
