(HBO) – A table tennis and badminton tournament was recently held by the culture-sport centre in Lac Thuy district.
The
organising board presents awards to athletes with excellent performance.
The tournament drew the participation of over 100 athletes of 20 teams from
organisations, units, communes, and town in the district.
Within two days, the athletes competed in 12 disciplines, including eight in
badminton, and four in table tennis.
First prize in table tennis men’s single went to Tran Viet Duc (Co Nghia), while
in women’s single event the prize belonged to Bui Thi Phuong (Thanh Nong). The
champion title was bestowed on Vu Quoc Trung (Phu Thanh) in mid-aged men’s
single category, and Nguyen Thanh Xuan (Lac Long) in elderly men’s single
category.
Regarding badminton competition for communes and town, Bui Van Khang and Bui
Van Truong (Dong Mon) were crowned champion in young men’s doubles event, Tran
Ngoc Thanh and Pham Tuan Linh (Co Nghia) claimed the highest position in men’s
doubles. Bui Thi Oanh and Nguyen My Hanh (Dong Tam) took the championship in
women’s doubles.
Trinh Viet Dac and Nguyen Anh Dung (Khoan Du), Dinh Thi Phuc and Nguyen Thi
Hoai (Chi Ne), and Pham Tan Thong and Hoang Hai (Co Nghia) brought home first
prizes in mid-aged doubles, and elderly men’s doubles categories.
At the competition for local organisations, Nguyen Tien Tung and Tran Hung
Cuong (medical centre) bagged championship title in men’s double, and Bui Duc
Giang and Dam Duy Hoa (K23) topped at the mid-aged men’s double./.
In addition to their love for traditional sports, people in communes and towns in Lac Son district also have a special passion for volleyball - a sport that is easy to play, helping enhance collectivity and bring a lot of joy, motivation, and laughter.
On March 23rd, in Mai Chau district, 5 competition distances of Vietnam Ultra Marathon in 2024 (Vietnam Ultra Marathon 2024 - VUM 2024) organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mai Chau District’s People's Committee, Co., Ltd. Phu Thinh (Topas Travel) took place. This is the latest running race in the Topas Vietnam Trail Series and was held in Mai Chau district for the first time.
From March 21st – 23rd, the Department of Education and Training organized the Badminton - Table Tennis Tournament for students in Hoa Binh province in 2024.
The continuous sound of drums and the constant cheers of the viewers at each competition, the match have shown the appeal of the folk games. Having the opportunity to come to the festivals in Hoa Binh, visitors will be fascinated by the form of entertainment containing good traditional cultural values.
In two days, March 3rd – 4th, the Women's Union of Hoa Binh city coordinated with the Center for Culture, Sports and Information of the city to organize the 1st Women's Steam Volleyball Tournament in Hoa Binh in 2024.
Since early 2024, high-achievement sports athletes have received intensive training in preparation for provincial and national tournaments this year.
