(HBO) - The central bank’s chapter in Hoa Binh province hosted the fifth art and sport exchange programme among trade unions in the banking sector in seven provinces in 2018.
The event was
attended by Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Cuu, and
officials from the State Bank’s chapters in the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Bac
Kan, Phu Tho, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Bac Giang and Hoa Binh.

doubles’ badminton
The event saw the
participation of 176 athletes, actors and actresses from the localities
Athletes competed for 26 sets of medals in badminton (10 sets), table tennis
(11 sets), volleyball (2 sets), tennis, chess and Chinese chess. An art exchange
programme featuring cultural identities of the locality was included in the
event.
During the two-day event,
which witnessed 225 exciting and dramatic matches, the organising board awarded 36 gold, 36 silver and 57 bronze
medals, 2 gold cups, 2 silver cups and 4 bronze cups to those who excelled in
competitions. In addition, the board also presented the two prizes to the oldest
and the youngest athletes.
The State Bank’s chapter of Yen Bai won the first prize in the overall
rankings of the event. Meanwhile, the teams
from those of Bac Giang and Thai Nguyen provinces ranked second and third, respectively.
The four consolation prizes were
presented to the teams of Bac Kan, Hoa
Binh, Tuyen Quang and Phu Tho provinces.

As scheduled, the 6thedition of this programme will be organised in Phu tho province in 2019. The
organising board handed a flag for hosting the event over to representatives of
Phu Tho province./.

From March 21st – 23rd, the Department of Education and Training organized the Badminton - Table Tennis Tournament for students in Hoa Binh province in 2024.
The continuous sound of drums and the constant cheers of the viewers at each competition, the match have shown the appeal of the folk games. Having the opportunity to come to the festivals in Hoa Binh, visitors will be fascinated by the form of entertainment containing good traditional cultural values.
In two days, March 3rd – 4th, the Women's Union of Hoa Binh city coordinated with the Center for Culture, Sports and Information of the city to organize the 1st Women's Steam Volleyball Tournament in Hoa Binh in 2024.
